Clubhouse Group Duties Defined
Bulletin Boards
The Clubhouse features information-filled Bulletin Boards along the poolside hallway walls. These boards serve as a valuable resource for residents seeking updates and community information.

One bulletin board is labeled “LOCAL BUSINESS INFO” and includes subtitles such as “Family Fun,” “For Sale,” and “Events.” This board primarily shares information about activities and services outside of Nassau Grove, except for “For Sale” items, which may be posted by residents. The board also features business cards for quick reference. When posting an item, please include the month and year on each submission. Postings are removed after 90 days to ensure the information remains current. Additional items are also posted seasonally, so check back regularly for updates!
This bulletin board highlights information about Nassau Grove groups and volunteering opportunities. Special thanks go to Rose Ewing and Mary Kuhlmann for keeping these boards up-to-date and relevant for the community.
Calendar Coordinators
The Nassau Grove Website Community Calendar is your go-to source for a comprehensive list of all scheduled meetings, activities, and Social Group events. If you are hosting a group or event and there is a change in the date or time, please contact Judi McDermott (jmcd9773@yahoo.com) and Sandi Aquino (sandiaquino@yahoo.com) so they can update the calendar accordingly.
Library
The Nassau Grove Community is the home to a little hidden treasure –a Library! Residents are welcome to borrow books from an interesting assortment of literature, fiction, historical fiction, nonfiction, biographies, and autobiographies in paperback and hardcover. The library is located in the Clubhouse Meeting room/Office and borrowers are free to choose books anytime the Clubhouse is open 5:00 AM – Midnight. The library is not staffed. There is no deadline for returns, but bibliophiles are asked to do so in a timely manner. Returned books simply need to be dropped in the basket that is labeled for returns. Donations are always welcome. Just be certain to donate books published in the last ten years. Please no reference books, instructional books, cookbooks or magazines. Book donations may be left on the counter next to the return basket. When you have a moment, check out Nassau Grove’s collection and satisfy our craving to dive into a good “read”.
Linens
Residents who wish to borrow linens or decorations for a party should notify the Clubhouse Chairperson. Karla Sellers. Requests for linens must be made at least 2–3 weeks prior to the event. After use, linens must be washed, folded, and returned to the Chairperson within 3 days following the event.
Planting & Watering
As spring approaches, members of the community come together to plant beautiful flowers in the planters at the front and patio side of the Clubhouse. These flowers require regular watering, a task managed by Rose Ewing and Maureen Ciao, who gather volunteers to help throughout the growing season. Their efforts help maintain a vibrant and welcoming environment.
Supplies and Restocking
Community events are made enjoyable with the availability of basic social events supplies – cups, luncheon and appetizer plates, and plasticware, thanks to Linda Stone. She ensures that not only are social events essentials stocked, but also the cleaning, bathroom, and kitchen supplies for Clubhouse use.
