Living in Nassau Grove

Put your lawn mower and weed whacker away. At Nassau Grove all lawn care, including seeding, fertilizing, aerating, mowing, edging and irrigation are included. When it’s time to refresh the front garden beds, you don’t have to haul mulch or trim the front bushes – it’s done for you. And no worries about fertilizing front trees, that’s done too!  If you enjoy gardening, you are welcome to install and maintain foundation plantings on the sides and rear of your home at your own expense. Your neighbors will love you for it.

Instead of working on your lawn between Memorial Day and mid-September, you can enjoy the gorgeous salt-water pool and bring your little ones to the kiddie pool. Enjoy the pool under in-pool umbrellas or relax on a lounge chair or at a table with umbrella and chairs. In the summer join your friends at the tiki bar. And in the Fall enjoy the patio with its large stone fireplace.

If you want to stay active outside, there are sidewalks around the ponds and throughout the neighborhood, tennis, pickleball, bocce, and walking and bike riding on the adjacent Georgetown-Lewes Bike Trail. There's even a catch and release pond for fishing.

The large clubhouse has a fitness center, kitchen, and rooms for billiards, ping pong, reading, watching movies theater-style, playing cards and games, and crafting.  Friends can socialize in front of the fireplace or in the bar area. The clubhouse is available for private parties, as well.

Weekly trash removal, bi-weekly recycling removal, and snow removal on roads and sidewalks are also included in the HOA dues!

Staying Active

Nassau Grove is a vibrant and active community. The clubhouse is home to the following activities: monthly book club, cards, crafts, games, and frequent happy hours. You can enjoy monthly bingo and Mexican train, weekly canasta, mahjong, billiards and poker, and bi-weekly pinochle and crafting.

Throughout the summer, there’s organized bocce and pickleball teams, tiki hut parties, water aerobics and Wacky Wednesday pool parties with hot dogs and pool floats.

In the off season, residents enjoy monthly dinner gatherings called Dine Arounds at various restaurants from Lewes to Bethany Beach.

Our Social Group plans events in the clubhouse, including luau party, Halloween party, holiday party, cookie walk, Mardi Gras party, 50/60’s party, Kentucky Derby party, cold plate suppers. The parties often have live music, dancing, optional contests and 50/50 raffles, in addition to great food!
